Once upon a time there was a big zoo in the centre of the city. The zoo was open from Monday to Saturday. Children loved to visit the zoo, see the animals and feed them.

One sunny Monday two boys and three girls came to the zoo. They were excited to see the lions, tigers, and elephants. The lions slept under a tree, the tigers played with a ball. The elephants played in the pond. The children looked at them and laughed.

The children also saw monkeys. They jumped in the trees. The monkeys were very funny and made silly faces. Next, the children visited the colourful birds. The birds sang songs and flew around their cages.

In the afternoon the children sat down to eat lunch. The boys had pasta with cheese and the girls had a pizza. They talked about their favourite animals. They loved the zoo and wanted to come back soon and take many photos.
